For the Quality Ladder, the rungs range from A to E with A being the top rung and so on.

‘A’ - Best in Class最高級(jí)
High-tech product, high quality customer expectation and/or high value, e.g. high-end AV products, 'kite marked' safety products, etc.
高科技產(chǎn)品、高品質(zhì)需求和/或高價(jià)值，例如高端AV產(chǎn)品，Kite標(biāo)記的安全性產(chǎn)品等。
‘B’ - Very Capable較高級(jí)
Products requiring high safety / legislative control, e.g. electric power tools, mains lighting, SDA etc.
產(chǎn)品需要較高的安全性/法律控制，例如電動(dòng)工具、照明燈具、SDA等。
‘C’ – Typical普通級(jí)
Products requiring high manufacturing control, medium safety / legislative control, e.g. garden furniture, children's paddling pools, striking hand tools, etc.
產(chǎn)品要求較高的生產(chǎn)控制、中等的安全性/法律控制，例如花園家俱、兒童游樂(lè)池、敲擊類(lèi)手工具等。
‘D’ – Managed Risk較低級(jí)
Products requiring minimal safety control but with reasonably managed quality e.g. curtain poles, bathroom accessories, non-striking hand tools, etc.
產(chǎn)品對(duì)安全性控制的要求較低，但是質(zhì)量必須過(guò)關(guān)，例如窗簾桿、衛(wèi)浴產(chǎn)品、非敲擊類(lèi)的手工具等。
‘E’ - At Risk最低級(jí)
Simple products requiring minimum quality control in manufacturing e.g. basic Xmas decorations (i.e. non CE), tile-spacers etc.
產(chǎn)品簡(jiǎn)單，只需進(jìn)行最低的生產(chǎn)質(zhì)量控制，例如基本的圣誕裝飾品（例如非CE產(chǎn)品）、瓷磚添縫劑等。

For the Environment and Ethical Ladder, the rungs range from 1 to 5 with 1 being the top rung
and so on.

‘1’ - Proud of 令人驕傲級(jí)
Strategically important, with whom we intend to develop our business
從戰(zhàn)略發(fā)展上來(lái)講對(duì)我們非常重要的供應(yīng)商/工廠，我們將與他們發(fā)展業(yè)務(wù)。
‘2’ – Happy with 令人歡欣級(jí)
Important factory with whom we have longer term business and/or key products
對(duì)我們較為重要的工廠，我們將與之保持長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)的業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系。
‘3’ – Satisfied with令人滿(mǎn)意級(jí)
Factory with whom we have longer term business or are developing
我們打算長(zhǎng)期保持業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系或我們將要進(jìn)行開(kāi)發(fā)的工廠。
‘4’ – Managed Risk 存在一定風(fēng)險(xiǎn)級(jí)
Factory with whom we may want to develop business
我們也許打算與之開(kāi)展業(yè)務(wù)的工廠。
‘5’ – At risk 存在很大風(fēng)險(xiǎn)級(jí)
Short term relationship, “one off” buy or transfer from agent to direct sourcing
短期合作的工廠，只進(jìn)行一次合作就結(jié)束或者從代理轉(zhuǎn)為直接采購(gòu)。
