Wal-Mart U.S PD required that going forward supplier need to use qualified
printing factory for 2005 Harvest, Halloween, & Holiday Time packaging. So
GP will start apply Factory Certification on your printing factory with
current standard. We are focusing on those offset printing factories in
China only, master carton manufacturer & PDQ/flux printing factory will not
be included at this moment.
Wal-Mart U.S PD（美國產(chǎn)品開發(fā)部）要求供應商對2005 年Harvest（豐收節(jié)）, Halloween（鬼節(jié)）, & Holiday Time（節(jié)日類）部門的包裝使用有資質(zhì)的印刷工廠。因此，Wal-Mart 全球采辦將按現(xiàn)行標準對您的印刷工廠進行認證。我們僅對中國的平板印刷廠（offset printing）進行認證，外箱制造商和PDQ/FLUX印刷廠將不包括在內(nèi)。
Please provide your partner offset printing factory before next Monday. Our
PD Shenzhen team will evaluate them first, then submit to FC dept. to follow
up on the certification. Only qualified printing factory name will be placed
on Tool-Kit, which is posted on retail link / Marketing / Packaging
Toolkits, and are allowed to produce 2005 Harvest, Halloween, & Holiday Time
packaging.

1. Supplier's printing factory must complete & send back the attached check
list before next Wednesday. 供應商印刷廠必須完成并在星期三前發(fā)回附件check list。<<Offset printing-checklist.doc>>
2. In principle, each supplier provides two printing factory at most.
原則上，每個供應商最多提供兩個印刷廠。
3. Printing factory must remark which program (Holiday Time, Harvest,
Halloween, or all ) the printing factory will/have produced. In the
checklist, there is an item need to be ticked by printing factory or
supplier for this. 印刷廠必須備注其要/已經(jīng)生產(chǎn)的包裝產(chǎn)品類型(Holiday Time, Harvest, Halloween, 或所有)。在checklist中，有供印刷廠或供應商選擇的項目。
Once you have Wal-Mart commitment on any of above programs -
一旦您有Wal-Mart關于上述產(chǎn)品生產(chǎn)委托—
1. GP will copy the item list once finalization for PD following packaging
design. GP將復制最終確認的產(chǎn)品類型列表給PD跟進包裝設計。
2. Packaging design & approval process should follow the process as Toolkit
mentioned. 包裝設計和確認過程應遵循Toolkit中所提的過程。
3. Color key & paper spec. will be sent out for supplier & printing
factory to follow. 將給出供應商和印刷廠要遵循的顏色和紙質(zhì)規(guī)格（Color key & paper spec.）
4. Packaging color & paper quality of pre-production packaging sample
should be approved firstly by PD Shenzhen team before GP Merchandiser
approves the packaging. 在GP業(yè)務員批準包裝產(chǎn)品前包裝產(chǎn)品的顏色和紙質(zhì)的預產(chǎn)樣板須先經(jīng)過PD深圳團的確認。
